Bayshire Carlsbad Activities
In order to keep things interesting, we regularly rotate the types of activities that are available to residents. So each week, you’ll have various options to choose from. We also try to plan the calendar around the interests of our residents. So if there’s something you’re interested in, just let us know!
Each community offers a different calendar based on the level of care. We understand the abilities of memory care residents may differ from those in independent living, so by having individual calendars, it allows us to tailor events and activities to our residents needs.
Even though the specific activities will be unique to each community, here are a few examples of what you can expect to find at one of our campuses:
Physical activities are designed to help you stay healthy and strong as you can continue doing more of the things you love, like taking your dog for a walk, tending to your favorite plants in the garden and going on excursions with your fellow residents. And because you have access to a variety of activities and events at your local community, you can choose whichever one sparks your interest.
Mental challenges are a great way to keep your mind sharp and focused. While these activities can provide a fun and unique challenge to any one of our residents, they are particularly valuable to those in memory care. These events can provide you with a regular mental fitness workout—and help you form new connections in the brain.

Educational opportunities shouldn’t come to an end when you move into a senior living community. These activities not only give you something fun to do with your time, but they encourage you to stay engaged with the world around you as you pursue a life rich in learning. Who knows what new skills or passions you may discover?
Social gatherings are an important part of life around here. After all, what good is it to have access to all these activities if you don’t have people to share them with? Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert, social events at your local community can help you connect with fellow residents and develop genuine friendships with all kinds of interesting people.
